Archangel’s Prophecy brings us back to the central storyline.
Elena and her Archangel wait for the next move from the Cascade. They never dreamed it would cost Elena her wings. The clock is ticking in this book as Elena’s immortality begins regressing. Not only that, but a new Ancient is entering the scene with the gift of prophecy. And her predictions are not looking good for Elena.
While fighting to change her fate, Elena, the hunter, is also wrapped up in a threat to her sister Beth. When Beth’s Vampire husband is brutally attacked and his family’s lives threatened, Elena can’t help but take action. What’s great about the mounting challenges against team Elena and Raphael, they remain an unshakable unit. There is no crippling codependency, or inability to separate for individual tasks. Elena can take care of her family and Raphael can run his territory. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite power couples.

After getting to know Ash’s predictive powers in Archangel’s Shadows, it’s only fitting that we find an Ancient with full scale prophetic power. I’m a sucker for a good prophecy story, especially those that don’t lock the characters into a predetermined path.

The Cascade continues to push the Guild Hunter world toward chaos and we are all on the edge of our seats for the ride.
