Review:

This review is for all you naysayers out there.

I was not planning on reading the comic. I already know the story, I already read the books, I thought.

I was wrong.

Myth 5/5

One of the great things about the comic is that it weaves together all the storylines from the Guild Codex world. This is fantastic because as much as I loved each individual series, there is SO much that’s happening and is interconnected - it’s truly a gift that Annette Marie was able to weave all this together!

And testament to the author AND illustrator - the comic matches exactly how I pictured everything in my mind. My first look at the bar in Crow & Hammer confirmed this series was everything I never knew I needed.

Magic 5/5

We’ve l already met Tori, the guys, Robin and Zylas. Drinks have been splashed, potions have been spilled and cookies have been thrown - we already know the rest is going to be epic.

Overall 5/5

This series is everything I never knew I needed. It’s like revisiting an old friend. It’s fast paced. It’s turned me onto a new medium of storytelling. My only critique is that I wished the weekly chapters were longer!
