Review:
Myth: 4/5
This series has been my favorite in the Guild Codex world and I was so happy, no matter what pain it took to get there, to see Saber find peace and rest. Don’t worry, it takes a LOT to get there, so expect lots of action, heartbreak and fae magic on the way.
Magic: 5/5
The fae world and magic explored in this series continued to be amazing. Especially in the context of the guilds, where you have elemental and alchemical magic, and then those are just outmatched by the unknown fae powers. Saber of course, knows the odds and throws herself into the thick of every situation that’s definitely not power balanced in her favor.
Overall: 4/5
A very satisfying conclusion to Saber and Zak’s story! I loved that Saber lead a lot of the charges and plans in the conclusion, she has always been a decision maker and action taker, but she lets herself rely just a little bit on others. Expect to see some familiar faces from the Guild Codex world, but the stars of the show are definitely Saber and Zak.
